With Head Office & manufacturing sites based in Melbourne this business offers a variety of wholesale food products that consist of pastries, breads, cakes, and sweets. They target café’s, restaurants, schools - anywhere that will sell bread or baked goods, is a potential customer
Reporting to the Director & Operations Manager, you will enjoy the challenge to drive profitable sales for the store by promoting the benefits of your products & services whilst utilising your sales skills to close the deal & be responsible for managing end-to-end client expectations. It's going to be an incredibly busy but exciting role where no two days will be the same.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Build & maintain relationships with new and established customers
- Achieve sales targets and KPI’s while ensuring the highest level of customer service
- Implement and negotiate sales strategies to increase revenue of your territory
- Ensure ongoing & reliable customer satisfaction through time management by recording, reviewing & actioning customer feedback
- Understand competitors in the area and have a detailed knowledge of their capability & products
- Negotiate, prepare & present sales plans, strategies and forecasting
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Thorough time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and have a passion for sales & customer service
- Customer focus and able to develop effective working relationships with all people
- Sales/Business Development/Marketing qualification desirable but not required
- Knowledge of either fresh or frozen food products
