**The Opportunity**:
As the Lead, Resource Planner IT PMO, you will report to the Director, Office of IT PMO, and be responsible for overseeing the global resource planning based on priories and capacity, supporting HUB PMO Directors and Project Managers.

**What you’ll do**:
The Lead, Resource Planner of IT PMO is responsible for:

- Resource Management: Ensure effective resource allocation and capacity planning according to their skillsets, previous experience and availability to optimize project deliverables.
- Ownership of resource planning tool(s), design, implementation and maintenance of the tool(s).
- Monitoring day-to-day project activities, workloads and corresponding resourcing.
- Manage resource conflicts.
- Knowing all the current and upcoming projects and business development activities, and planning resourcing accordingly.
- Documentation of the resource planning process
- Metrics and Reporting: to meet set KPIs, which include but are not limited to; resource utilization, track planning forecast compared to actuals and provide insights for business process improvement.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate and support the Portfolio Manager, HUB IT PMO Directors and key stakeholders to manage project resourcing needs and priorities.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and alignment.
- Always adhering to WSP Health and Safety standards.

**About You**:
**Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, information technology, business, management, or a similar field
- 5+ years’ experience in PMO or program/project management on resourcing projects.
- Experience working with resources that are geographically dispersed.
- Ability to work within a matrix organization structure.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- End to End understanding of IT lifecycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery and financial)

**Other Requirements**
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- Presentation and training skills are an advantage.
- A relevant program/project management qualification preferred (e.g. PRINCE Practitioner, PMP) would be preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 or above would be an advantage.
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with peers and leaders.
