As a Senior Explosive Ordnance Engineering Manager, reporting to the Integrated Product Team Director with a strong connection to the broader IPT Team, working in Explosive Material Branch (EMB) means no two days will be the same.

You will work with other professionals to manage a specified family of guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force.

You will spend your days:

- Investigating, analysing and reporting on engineering concepts and risks
- Planning and delivering critical engineering activities
- Providing advice to stakeholders
- Mentor junior members
- Enabling good inventory decisions with quality and timely engineering advice

**About our Team**
EMB is a group of approximately 560 dedicated employees working across engineering, project management, commercial, logistics and corporate enabling services. Our mission is acquiring and sustaining guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) across the life-cycle phases: requirements setting; contracting; procurement; international logistics; domestic manufacturing; item management and maintenance, and co-ordination of disposal activities.

EMB partners with domestic and international industry to deliver materiel capability to Defence, managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of complex, high-profile acquisitions and sustainment activities to support the ADF.
