The Loan Origination Syndication Team are a market facing function within Corporate Finance working closely with C&IB Coverage teams for the origination and distribution of loans to a broad range of investors in the loan market.

The team maintains regular investor engagement to ensure investor appetite and sentiment is current and identify market trends and insights to provide our bankers and customers. The team continues to grow with presence in UK/Europe, North America and Asia in addition to Australia which provides team members excellent development and growth opportunities.

As an Associate Director, Global Loans Origination and Syndication (GLOS), you will support the origination and distribution of arranged and underwritten transactions. This involves meaningfully contributing to the development of marketing materials (for both origination and distribution) and the execution of transactions.

**In this Associate Director role, you will**:

- Support senior colleagues to deliver on the C&IB and Corporate Finance plan and deliver on customer outcomes.
- Manage and contribute to the drafting of information memorandums, teaser documents, underwriting memos and drafting of/review of supporting documentation such as mandate letters, invite letters and facility agreements.
- Develop capital solutions for NAB’s clients which add value to the Bank.
- Build effective engagement and trust with internal and external stakeholders, including third party investors and originate transactions.
- Lead projects and initiatives across C&IB through to completion on time.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Extensive experience in Syndicated Loans or capital markets, credit, investment banking or similar.
- A proven track record in origination and execution.
- Knowledge and experience in credit analysis is essential.
- A passion for working closely with internal and external stakeholders within the value stream on delivering an exceptional service against committed service level agreements.
- Ability to negotiate transaction terms and documentation.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to balance complex tasks and responsibilities.
