**The Role**
- Facilitate communication between operations, production planning & maintenance teams to ensure equipment is maintained with mínimal production interruption.
- Preserving the integrity of the MEX system through table updates, reporting analysis, troubleshooting system issues and minimising emergency breakdown work.
- Develop, maintain and compile asset reliability, criticality and condition information necessary for the asset planning, delivery and maintenance strategies
- Oversee and monitor expenditure to obtain cost out and efficiencies.
- Provide technical planning and scheduling for short
- and long-term objectives to ensure optimal maintenance effectiveness.
- Recommend a logical work sequence and resource allocation for designated objectives in collaboration with others.
- Report on scheduled maintenance versus completed maintenance jobs.
- Identify and resolve potential problems, recommending opportunities to improve the process.
- In conjunction with the Maintenance Superintendent manage maintenance costs through efficient use of resources, while staying within monthly, quarterly and annual operating budget.
The Person
- Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Technology graduate or prior experience in related maintenance trade work
- Prior experience in preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational, planning / scheduling and time management skills.
- Knowledge of RCA, MTBF, MTTR and TPM
- MEX knowledge
- Strong MS Office computer skills.
- Excellent communication and confident dealing with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence when needed
