The Board Support Officer will coordinate tasks set out in the Board and Committee workplan and matters arising from meetings to ensure that all Directors/ Executive Leads meet requirements (including the preparation of papers for Board or Committee consideration).

NB: This role would suit someone looking for flexibility, such as shorter working hours across a 4 or 5 day working week (for example either with a later start time or earlier finishing time, including to accommodate caring responsibilities). Board and Committee meetings will generally be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**A little about you (the key selection criteria)**

**Governance expertise**:Demonstrated experience and familiarity with corporate governance principles and compliance requirements (for example, under the _Charities Act 2013 _(Cth),_ Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission Act 2013 _(Cth), _Corporations Act 2001_ (Cth) etc.)

**Strong technological proficiency**:Very strong technological skills (i.e. using Diligent, document management systems, Microsoft suite, minuting programs and conferencing tools) and willingness to ensure efficiency

**Adaptability**:Flexible and affable approach to support the needs of key stakeholders (i.e. Directors, General Counsel and Company Secretary etc.)

**Initiative and attitude**:Having a can-do approach, positive, conscientious, humble, and a team player working in partnership with the organisation

See position description for other skill requirements.
