Our client is a privately owned, proudly Australian business that has been manufacturing and marketing Australian designed and made instant water systems since 1947.

Headquartered in Sydney, they have offices nationally and a network of more than 300 trained service technicians provides installation, maintenance and service nationwide.

We are currently recruiting for an afternoon shift Maintenance Fitter (3pm start), to be based at their Sydney HQ.

**About the role**

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to undertake a proactive role in fault finding and coordinating preventative maintenance work.
- Complete general fitting, welding, fabricating, machining and equipment maintenance/installation
- Undertake a proactive role in fault finding and coordinating preventative maintenance work
- Review planned works coming up and schedule accordingly
- Engage with the production team to optimise the performance of all equipment daily
- Contribute ideas and input to improve systems, procedures and maintenance
- Work from prioritised Maintenance schedule
- **Have a positive, can do attitude**:

- Promote WH&S on site

**Key Qualifications**:

- Mechanical trade certificate
- Disconnect /reconnect license
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Understanding of LEAN principles
- Refrigeration experience preferred

**Pay rate**:up to $47 per hour (afternoon shift 3pm start)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
