We are seeking a Human Resources Officer with availability to work 24 hours/week (ideally across 4 days, with some flexibility on start/finish times). Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with the team to ensure strategic objectives are achieved that add value to the business by:

- Ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements relating to HR functions.
- Assisting with the implementation of HR and associated projects.
- Developing and reviewing policies and procedures to support the dynamic work environment and organisational culture.
- Supporting a range of HR and payroll related functions, including recruitment, award interpretation, leave management, performance management and work health and safety.
- Undertaking other associated HR administration duties including data entry and records management.

Your professionalism, efficiency, attention to detail and strong client focus is essential, together with:

- Previous aligned experience within a human resources environment (and an understanding of human resource practices in key areas such as recruitment, performance management, policy development and award interpretation).
- _Qualification in a HR related discipline preferred (or current studies)._
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client/team service focus.
- Confident learning and using a range of technology (including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, together with exposure to HR/Payroll systems).
- Team player who takes ownership and responsibility, shows initiative and ensures follow-through.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines whilst ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
- A current Working with Children Blue Card (or eligibility to secure)
