This role involves providing exceptional, person-centered care to our valued participant in their family home.

**About the Role**:
As a Support Worker, you will assist with **daily care** across a rotating **7-day schedule**. Shifts run from **6:00 AM to 8:00 PM**, with initial **2-hour buddy shifts** to ensure a smooth transition.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Supporting hygiene and grooming needs.
- **Medication Assistance**: Administering medications as required.
- **High-Intensity Supports**: Tasks such as enteral feeding and complex bowel care.
- **Well-Being Monitoring**: Observing and reporting participant progress.
- **Manual Handling**: Using slide sheets, hoists, and other equipment (training provided).
- **Compliance**: Adhering to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- **Training**: Attending RN-led training sessions to maintain competency.

This role is unique as you’ll form lasting professional relationships with the participant, their family, and your teammates.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum **Certificate III or IV** in Disability, Community Services, or Individual Support.
- At least **1 year of experience** in disability support work.
- Experience with **manual handling**, **PEG feeding**, and **medication prompting** (preferred).
- Current **CPR/First Aid Certificate**.
- Valid **NDIS Worker Screening Check** or Yellow Card.
- Current **Australian Driver’s Licence** and a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.
- **Smartphone** with internet access.
- Completion of the **NDIS Worker Orientation Module**.
