Supporting a super cool and dynamic Client, with complex challenges. These challenges require 24/7 support with active overnight supports.
This awesome lady requires emotional and physical supports, assistance with making meals and eating, personal cares, domestic assistance and community access.
We need people who are sympathetic to varying challenges and physical limitations and in deescalating situations of anxiety and distress and those who are not adverse to hard work; who are resilient and can manage challenging situations with grace, patience, understanding and compassion. It's not all on you though, as you will have support in this. She also needs people who are passionate in doing with, not doing for.
The ideal Support Worker is someone who is bubbly, outgoing, supportive with an artistic or creative mind is also of benefit as our Client is a very creative person who loves to tinker and work out life puzzles.

**_Your key responsibilities & accountabilities _**
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered.
- Communicate effectively with our Clients, team & coordinators and participate in collaboration for our Clients needs.
- Understand, follow instructions, and responsive to our Clients needs.
- Provide personal cares, conversation, cleaning, cooking and various other types of support to our Clients as required.
- Have good rapport building skills.
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients.
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals.
**_To be Successful you must _**
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card and blue cards (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
