We are looking for wonderful Disability Support Workers in the Sunshine Coast area to join our amazing team in Sippy Downs. We are after team members that have the availability to cover a range of shifts 24/7. This Client requires high intensity care as it involves peg feeding along with personal care tasks, light domestic duties, manual handling and community access.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who are enthusiastic, committed to their role, and are able to build rapport.

Our Client is a fun-loving middle-aged lady who loves getting out into the community and meeting new people, attending the gym is also extremely important to her and unlike many of us who drag themselves to the gym, she’s always knocking at the door as keen as mustard to work those muscles.

There are numerous shifts available over a 24hr period, we are looking for Support Workers who can do active overnights.
- **Our base salary is $34.45 not including penalties for evening / night / weekend shifts.**_

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be successful you must:

- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.45 - $39.99 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
