**About Us**:
Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) provides quality infrastructure services to the department. ISD is a highly motivated, energetic and results orientated team focused on delivering flexible, innovative and responsive infrastructure solutions. ISD consists of the following organisational units:

- Office of the Assistant Director-General.
- Infrastructure Operations.
- Infrastructure Planning and Delivery.
- Direction Setting.

ISD contributes to teaching and learning outcomes in schools by aligning facilities services to whole of government initiatives and departmental priorities. Core functions include policy formulation, strategic planning, program formation, project delivery and performance reporting.
The New Schools Delivery Team provides leadership, governance, program and project management, close collaborative working, and extensive and comprehensive engagement with stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver a future ready school network for the inner city of Brisbane.

**About the Role**:You will have responsibility for (but not limited to)**:

- Manage project teams in the development, implementation, maintenance and review of programs, policies and procedures to support the strategic direction of the department for a range of infrastructure and planning related issues.
- Manage the human, financial and physical resources allocated to support the service function and be accountable for their effective use.
- Lead, manage and participate in a team(s) providing a high-quality service in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for infrastructure and planning related services to internal and external clients and stakeholders.

**About You**:To be successful in the role you will possess the following**:

- Effective communication, consultation and negotiation skills with a proven ability to lead others, meet client needs, represent the department and foster and maintain productive partnerships with team members and internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills and have the understanding of project delivery and project management of construction related works.
- Personal drive and integrity including the ability to proactively improve systems, services, policies, practices and processes to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved and to be accountable for the course of action taken to create this improvement.

When working in regulated employment anemployee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
