**Building Services Manager.**

**_About the role:_**

The
**Building Services Manager **is a critical role within the Projects Division, responsible for leading and managing our multi-disciplinary practice for continued growth and success.

**About You**:
You will bring a high level of commercial acumen, with a desire to drive best-practice outcomes. You will have expertise in engaging with the broader Engineering & Technical Services community along with your previous history of delivering superior engineering and technical services to ensure the client brief is managed and delivered effectively.

Having had extensive experience in leading teams, you will provide innovative ideas for continuous improvement initiatives to help maintain and support the development and execution of our contract requirements and any variations.

In this role, every day will be challenging and varied, and will see you be responsible for:

- Partnering closely with our Engineering discipline leads to ensure that we meet all project deliverables.
- Providing strong leadership of a team of engineers across different functions.
- Supporting the business by communicating resource loading and people requirements
- Ensuring discipline technical work meets all required standards.
- Ensure that your team member adhere to all technical, engineering, design, regulatory and customer requirements.
- Participate in project execution strategy and planning, negotiations, strategic alliancing, cost saving efforts.
- Role model constructive leadership behaviour and contribute to building a positive and engaged work environment.
- Coach employees with management responsibilities to be effective leaders, people managers and role models.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and or qualifications in the following areas:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and or previous local work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience of multi-disciplined teams across different functions.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Skilled in estimating project cost and writing proposal content.
- Comfortable with high level decision making to achieve engineering and project goals.
