Domestic Violence Service Management (DVSM) provides direct services to people experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and homelessness. DVSM together with Insight Exchange continuously work to strengthen social, service, and system responses for people experiencing domestic and family violence. DVSM provides support services across Inner Sydney, Western Sydney, and in remote rural NSW (Wilcannia)
**About the role**:
We are excited to partner with the organisation to appoint a passionate and established General Manager to join the organisation’s Senior Leadership team, reporting to the CEO.

As General Manager, you will be responsible across all operations, ensuring the delivery of outstanding services to the people they support. Working with a committed and experienced team of Service Leaders you will strive to achieve optimum service performance, building a culture of innovation and excellence servicing Greater Sydney and Regional NSW -Wilcannia
**A bit about you**
To have success in the role you will be a highly adaptable, motivated and innovative leader, who enjoys rising to new challenges. You will understand the complexities of working in the not-for-profit sector and be both business savvy and people focussed. You will also have:
- Extensive management experience with people and teams in an operational capacity, with an ability to lead through change in a clear, empowering and collaborative style
- A Tertiary Qualification in Community Services, Social Work and/ or Business or similar
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and response-based practices in a leadership capacity, ideally working within the area of Domestic and Family Violence
- Cultural competence and the ability to work in a manner that upholds the dignity and enhances opportunities for self-determination of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, along with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with senior managers and staff at all levels of an organisation.
- Possess excellent networking skills (internal and external) to engage audiences in knowledge transfer and influencing change.
- Contract management experience including the identification and resolution of issues in a contract management environment.
- Will be required to travel to Regional NSW on a bi-monthly basis, as a minimum.
**Mandatory requirements for the role**
**_Drivers License, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC and 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations are requirements for this role (or valid medical exemption)_**
