**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a **Part-Time Bookkeeper** to join our friendly and supportive team at our Parramatta location. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to grow within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and Australian tax regulations
- Experience with BAS preparation and payroll processing
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
- Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Complete tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting
- Provide clients with financial insights and advice to support business growth
- Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver exceptional client service
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
