The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Premium Dining Coordinator.

The Premium Dining Coordinator is a visible, energetic, and ethical leader who develops, maintains, and promotes a philosophy that culminates in guest satisfaction and employee engagement, while consistently achieving annual and long term financial and strategic plans.

Working alongside some of the most talented and driven professionals in the industry, this specialist role sees your passion for guest services aid in the success of the level 80 signature outlets.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; 5+ years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 3-years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant experience.
- Previous experience in a reservation/events/administration management & sales capacities will be viewed favorably.
- Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.

**Assisting in Food and Beverage Operations**
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, lateral teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Responds quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
- Identify and takes action to maximize revenue opportunities though strong management of guest and table inventory.
- Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Assists and supports the premium dining outlets in venue during operational hours & behind the scenes where required.
- Motivates and empowers ladies & gentlemen to solve guest and employee related concerns.
- Attract, select, and retain the best ladies & gentlemen apart of our hosting & reservation teams.
- Inspire exceptional talent through development and growing the skills of fellow ladies & gentlemen.
- Leads a growing team of hosts & guest service agents and is responsiblke for

**Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service**
- Create unique, memorable, and personal experiences that stay with guests for life.
- Responds quickly and proactively to guest's concerns.
- Department brand standard champion who conducts consistent audits of all F&B venues and generates supporting reports which are shared with the leadership team for on-going training and development.
- Sets service expectations for all guests internally and externally through strong guest service mapping throughout the property.
- Takes ownership of a guest complaint/problem until it is resolved, or it has been addressed by the appropriate venue manager or employee.
- Follows up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
- Attends outlet line-ups to share VIP and guest relation information highlighting any specialty requests, dietaries, or repeat return guests.
- Develops a relationship with all guests to build repeated clientele internally and externally.

**Additional Responsibilities as Assigned**
- Attends Food & Beverage & Marketing meetings when needed in support of delivering the hotel marketing plan & planning for special events & promotions.
- Apart of the leadership team which strategically develops, plans, and brings to life key signature activations.
- Works diligently with the Director of Food & Beverage to support the hotel sales team in driving revenue growth opportunities throughout Food & Beverage.
