**Commercial Cleaner**

**Position Title**: Full-Time Cleaner
**Reports To**: Area Manager / Site Supervisor
**Location**: Inner metropolitan Melbourne (St Kilda 3004)
**Hours**: Full-Time (38 hours per week). Daytime Hours - 7-8am to 3-4pm.

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Daily Cleaning**: Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
- **Sanitization**: Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and shared equipment, to ensure a hygienic environment.
- **Waste Management**: Empty and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with site and environmental guidelines.
- **Floor Care**: Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as required, paying attention to safety and slip-resistant practices.
- **Restocking Supplies**: Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning products and restroom essentials; report shortages to the Supervisor.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- **Physical Ability**: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 10 kg, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- **Skills**: Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals; attention to detail.
- **Working rights**: Must have full time working rights in Australia.
- **Availability**: Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekend shifts as needed.
- **Clear National Police Check**
