Seeking Talented Data Specialists to form a new team to perform the roles of Data Analyst and Data Engineers from manager and expert to senior manager and senior expert levels, to support the agency analyse datasets and designing and implementing complex data flows.

**Role1 Data Analyst Managers - EL1**
analyse datasets with a variety of tools to research and solve organisational issues and identify trends and insights to support organisational outcomes. They plan, develop, configure, maintain, and support database management systems in accordance with user requirements ensuring optimal database integrity, security, backup, reliability and performance. Data Analyst Managers support the instrumentation of Enterprise Data Management across all business units and develop data standards and strategies for the solution.

**Duties Include**:

- lead and support operations of the team including monitoring business performance, setting priorities, and managing resources and workflow
- collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
- develop standard methodologies, processes, and procedures for the data components of ICT and business projects
- initiate adjustments to data policies and procedures as necessary to improve key performance indicators
- contribute to and influence ICT strategy resolving conflicts as needed
- assist with the implementation of data quality programs, including measurements initiatives
- prepare and review a range of written material including technical and corporate documentation
- monitor and manage work output and quality against established performance standards through the interpretation of quality analysis and reporting
- report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance to manage overall performance
- encourage innovation, continuous improvement and manage and support change
- attend interagency meetings and forums to influence business outcomes and share information
- engage and partner with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
- assist with the development of strategies, operational policy and procedures and change initiatives

Ability to:

- think strategically and assess risks to implement mitigation strategies and align operational activity accordingly
- develop and manage a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships by effectively tailoring communication and communication styles
- manage and resolve conflict using appropriate strategies
- grasp expectations and concerns, and negotiate quality outcomes
- undertake objective, systematic analysis and risk evaluation to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence and professional judgement
- work highly independently under broad direction and act collaboratively

**Role 2. Senior Data Analyst Manager. EL2**

**Duties Include**
- collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
- establish and enforce standard methodologies, processes, and procedures for the data components of ICT and business projects
- initiate adjustments to data policies and procedures as necessary to improve key performance indicators
- set direction by contributing and aligning to local business plans and ICT strategies
- define, approve, and execute data quality programs and initiatives
- negotiate, engage, and manage relationships with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
- attend interagency meetings and forums to influence business outcomes and share information
- drive innovation, continuous improvement and manage and lead change
- use progress against business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance reports to inform management, strategic direction, and future planning
- identify and monitor risks, develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues as appropriate oversee, review, and advise on a range of written material including technical and corporate documentation
