**LEAD THE FUTURE OF COACHING IN AUSTRALIAN CRICKET**

We have an exciting opportunity for a **National Community Coaching Lead** to join the Cricket department at Cricket Australia. Coaches are the driving force behind the game’s success, and we’re looking for a passionate leader to guide the national community coach development network and help bring our strategic vision to life.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead programs and initiatives that enhance the coaching experience - boosting retention and creating brilliant, lasting experiences for coaches and players across community cricket. Your leadership will shape the future of coaching in Australia, ensuring it is inclusive, innovative, and aligned with our national participation goals.

As the National Community Coaching Lead, other key responsibilities of your role will include:

- **Program Management**:Lead the planning and execution of coaching initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to set impactful objectives, drive continuous improvement, and deliver measurable coaching results.
- **Coach Recruitment, Retention & Recognition**:Champion inclusive, nationwide campaigns and initiatives that aligned with Australian Cricket’s strategic action plans to attract and engage coaches, as well as celebrate the impact that they make.
- **Coach Development**: Collaborate with national leads to embed core coaching principles into junior programs, champion the rollout of the national coach development framework, and drive innovation in curriculum design.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

The successful National Community Coaching Lead will have:

- Expertise in end-to-end program management, including strategic planning, coordination, and execution of complex initiatives
- Understands the sporting system and the role coaches play
- Adopts a growth mindset; is nimble and flexible
- Ability to facilitate, collaborate and influence outcomes
- Leverages data-driven insights to inform decision-making, initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Applies innovative thinking and leverages modern learning methodologies to enhance engagement and effectiveness
- Knowledge and understanding of digital learning platforms
- Highly effective communication skills
- Capability to provide clarity and efficiently connect, align and inform all stakeholder groups
