Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Development Manager to join our Melbourne Team. You will Work within the development management team to manage and deliver projects including taking responsibility for various aspects of financial and program delivery.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Create and manage project feasibility - single stage, multi stages, JV models and all components of financial model
Ability to balance and delegate objectives
Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately
Ability to enter into and negotiate/finalise commercial negotiations
Review and manage development programme and brief
Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations
Expertise in legal, regulatory and other industry matters, with the ability to provide recommendations for actions internally within project feasibility
Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes, and know when to escalate to management
Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value
Ability to see and communicate ‘the bigger picture’, new business opportunities, and put together requirements
Value management of all aspects and stages of the project
Proactive approach at advancing project
Possess thorough market knowledge and understanding of the market, including keeping up-to-date with competing developments
Possess thorough understanding of planning system and ability to seek and obtain Development Approvals
Contribute to the Development PDP
Ability to chair and run efficient and meaningful meetings

Your point of difference

Appropriate tertiary qualifications and indicative industry experience

Solid experience in managing and developing teams, strong commercial / legal/ financial acumen and an understanding of the procurement, planning and tendering processes

Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity, conflict resolution experience in project and people management and excellent Microsoft Suites and project management skills
