**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR professional to join our team for an 18-month parental leave cover, with the potential opportunity for permanency for the right person. Reporting to Manager, People & Culture; you will be working closely with the broader People & Culture team, People & Performance Partners and other departments to coordinate HR generalist functions such as recruitment, on-boarding, ER/IR, HR administration, process improvement and projects.

We have lots of fun projects in the pipeline for the next financial year for you to sink your teeth into such as a new HR data warehouse, employee experience initiatives and building upon our employer branding.

**Role Responsibilities**
- End-to-end recruitment process.
- Onboarding and inducting new employees following their successful recruitment.
- Actioning queries and requests from the central HR Inbox, providing generalist HR support, guidance, and timely advice to stakeholders.
- Participate and support HR projects as identified in our People Strategy.
- Support cyclical activities like performance reviews and remuneration reviews.
- Conduct HR analysis and generate reports to support the national operations as required.
- Identifying and participating in continuous improvement process.
- Maintaining personnel records and associated human resource information systems, including preparation of contracts and employment letters.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- 3-5 years of previous HR experience.
- Experience in a busy and recruitment heavy environment.
- Qualification / Degree in Human Resources or relevant experience.
- Experience in interpreting policies, legislation, NES and Employment Agreements.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to your work.
- Solution focused with excellent communication, organisation & planning skills.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team with the ability to work autonomously.
