**Nightingale Nurses at Home** is a community healthcare provider catering to the North Shore and Northern Beaches regions of Sydney. We aim to provide care and assistance to elderly clients as they require in the comforts of their own homes. We believe that our clients' healthcare goals can be achieved with the help of highly skilled healthcare providers who will be appropriately deployed and allocated roles specific to the clients' changing needs.

**Job description**

We are looking for **FEMALE Home Care Nurse Assistants **to join our team on a **CASUAL **basis**. ** As this is home / community nursing, **we require someone who can drive and have their own car fully insured. **You will be **paid per kilometre for travel in between clients. **Shifts are commonly **3 hours per client, so this will be suitable for individuals who are looking for add-on hours**. However, if you would like longer hours in a day, we are able to allocate two clients per day per employee. Normal working hours would be **Monday to Friday**.

**THIS IS FOR IMMEDIATE START**

1. Personal care -showering, dressing, grooming, dental care, skin care

2. Meal assistance - meal preparation and assistance in intake if required

3. Mobility assistance -stand-by assist for safety

4. Light housekeeping - tidying, laundry, and bed making

5. Client transportation - appointments, shopping, or recreational

6. Other tasks that fall within your scope of practice.

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:
To be considered for the position, you must have:
1. At least Certificate III in individual support (aged care). Medication support certification preferred.

2. A valid driver's licence and own car with full comprehensive insurance

3. A current (or willingness to acquire one prior to employment) certificate of:

- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Training
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support Training
- Manual Handling Training

4. Vaccination certificate of at least 3 doses for COVID-19 and Influenza

5. Have at least 3 months PAID experience working as:

- Care support worker
- Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
- Community Services worker
- Currently studying Diploma or Bachelor in Nursing (had at least one placement completed)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
