**About the Corporation**

Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (“YAC”) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate which is held in Trust for approximately 350 Yinhawangka people.

The Yinhawangka People are the native title claimants and traditional custodians of approximately one million hectares of land and waters that including a number of Rio Tinto mines and the town of Paraburdoo of the Pilbara region in Western Australia.

**Job Overview**

The Bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the Corporation. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Senior Finance Officer to ensure accurate and reliable accounts are maintained.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Accounts Payable - management of end-to-end process ensuring appropriate coding, approvals, reconciliation, and payment runs.
- Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll for our staff and directors.
- Maintaining and keeping accurate and complete payroll records for all employees.
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Assist the finance team with ad hoc tasks and financial reporting requirements as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 3 years of relevant bookkeeping and accounting experience.
- Prior payroll processing experience.
- Competent in XERO, features, functions, and processes.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365 suite, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Work efficiently, and accurately with professional accountability.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 22 per week
