We have a newly created opportunity for a **General Manager - Residential and Retirement Villages**, to oversee the operational management, and effective, efficient delivery of Bethanie’s Residential and Retirement Village (RV) services. This is a key leadership position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Aged Care.

We are moving towards providing a seamless service for our Bethanie customer and the General Manager - Residential and RV will play a key part in this evolution. This is an opportunity to work with a leading organisation that values customer service excellence and customer-centric care in delivering all our services.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Strategic leadership of Residential and RV operations including developing and aligning strategies for operations with Bethanie’s organisational strategy
- Ongoing review of the service delivery model, driving improvements and changes where required
- Continually evaluate and report on care delivery outcomes, measuring effectiveness and implementing changes where necessary
- Plan and execute continuous improvement activities in line with Bethanie’s broader strategic plan
- Provide strong leadership, direction and coaching to direct reports

**About you**:
We are seeking a transformational leader with a proven track record of delivering results and driving large scale change. You have exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience leading and growing a team of strong operational managers.

Additional requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in a Health-related field or Business Management
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership capacity within the aged care, health care or service sectors
- Contemporary knowledge of health or aged care and solid understanding of current and future service delivery models as well as regulatory, quality and funding requirements
- Ability to balance commercial with customer-centric business delivery
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading effective teams, modelling desired values and behaviours, inspiring and motivating them to achieve organisational goals
- Established networks in state / federal advisory groups or similar advocacy exposure is also desirable
