Looking to kickstart your career in Local Government and considering the civil construction industry?

Maxima, in partnership with the City of Adelaide, are looking for committed and driven individuals to undertake a 3-year Civil Construction Apprenticeship.

Located in the City, these full-time opportunities will see you gaining hands-on experience and studying towards a nationally recognised
**Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations**.

Join a friendly and experienced team and learn all aspects within the Maintenance, Construction, Bitumen and Line Marking Crews as well as sign installation.

**Benefits**:

- 9-day working fortnight
- Obtain HR Truck Licence, Work Zone Traffic Management, White Card, Forklift, Excavator, Backhoe and Skidsteer tickets
- Possible eligibility for Government incentives of up to $5,000 in the first 2-years

**Duties Include**:

- Site preparation and excavation
- Level base and surface materials
- Lay pavers
- Repair and installation of drainage logistics
- Concrete and bitumen repairs and reinstatements
- Install safety barriers and traffic management
- Operate plant machinery and use power tools

**About You**:

- Driven with a positive attitude
- Enjoy working in an outdoor environment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and able to move repetitively
- Strong verbal communication skills

**Role Requirements**:

- Provisional or c-class driver’s licence with reliable transport
- Any labouring or industry experience (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
