Dhelkaya Health has campuses in Castlemaine and Maldon.

**3 month fixed-term contract / full-time (80 hours per fortnight)**

Under the direction of the Executive Director, Clinical & Aged Care Services, the Project Officer will develop the model, functions, responsibilities, performance indicators and data set of the new Nursing Workforce Unit (NWU).

The vision for the NWU is to provide:

- Effective and efficient recruitment, retention and management of supplementary nursing and health care worker staff
- Planning and delivery of daily staff allocations to manage workforce requirements in each area, including proactive leave management systems
- Supporting the nursing leadership team and departments with analysis of the workforce for future planning

**About you**
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in project management, preferably in a health care environment
- Demonstrated ability to implement lead and support change
- A customer / patient focused approach to delivery of quality outcomes
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with sound ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional groups in both written and verbal form
- Highly organised
- Ability to work autonomously
