**Tutoring Year 1 to Year 10 students** in English and Mathematics.

We are now hiring and are on the lookout for exemplary young people to join our team. Since establishing in 2012, Studywise Learning Centre has helped hundreds of students in our community excel in their studies.
- Casual/part-time English and Mathematics tutor/teacher position available in Cranbourne West (near railway station), Victoria.
- You must be available to teach classes weekly on Saturdays, and some evenings on weekdays.

**Main tutor responsibilities**:

- Teaching concepts that will assist students with their classwork and homework.
- Give students feedback and advice on how they can improve.
- Marking students' classwork and/or homework.

Tutors will be supervised and are provided with resource material and training.

**Who we are looking for**:

- To be considered for this position applicants must:_
- Have a strong desire to help students and have an interest in education.
- Current Children Check or VIT Registration is preferred, but not essential.
- Applicants **must have completed VCE/Year 12 in Australia**.
- Please mention your VCE study scores for English and Mathematics in your cover letter or resume.
- Work experience, with some other form of demonstrated leadership or team work is not mandatory, but highly preferable.
- Have strong communication skills, and work well as a team.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

All tutors and students are required to be vaccinated against Covid-19, wear a mask and common surfaces are regularly sanitised.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC 3977: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
