FACTORY MANAGER

FULL TIME POSITION WITH IMMEDIATE START

As Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production operations at our Preston's production facility. You will lead a small team in a hands on roll and function, ensuring that all production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within quality standards. Must be able to read work shop drawings, CAD CAM drawing experience an advantage.

Key tasks include:

- Ensuring production resources are in line with project deadlines
- Lead workshop and operations meetings
- Monitoring machinery and equipment upkeep to ensure equipment is compliant and operating safely
- Training and inducting new staff
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance within the factory
- Overall management of stock control and stock accuracy

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Minimum of 1 year experience in a factory supervisory role
- Valid drivers’ licence, including forklift licence
- Excellent team leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stake holders
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines
- Able to work autonomously and lead a small team
- Strong work ethic with a keen focus on health and safety

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
