Cloud Data Science Specialist requited for a 12 + 12-Month contract in Canberra

**Your new company**

You will be working for a mid-sized federal government department.

**Your new role**

The department is seeking a Cloud Data Science Technical Specialist to:

- Review platform requirements and assess their feasibility for implementation in the department’s ecosystem,
- Define data science solutions using platform tools and work with data scientists to deliver these solutions,
- Collaborate with cloud architects and cloud engineers for the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of the Data Science Platform,
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to uplift platform and solution designs for data science, and
- Develop and maintain relevant project and design documentation such as detailed designs, technical configuration documents and build guides.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have experience with delivering data science solutions with Microsoft technologies,
- Have demonstrated government sector experience, including working in small project teams.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline level clearance

**What you'll get in return**

This role will allow you to be part of a small collaborative team working with the latest Microsoft offerings. An initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option is on offer.
