**About the Company**

Our client is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of building solutions and access technologies. With its Australian operation based near Brisbane Airport, it also has facilities in several U.S. locations and six other locations internationally.

**About the role - Production Supervisor role**

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of the factory production and stores activity. You will ensure the factory is well organised, the teams are operating efficiently and that materials and processes are in place to meet production targets. You will also proactively contribute to the development and maintenance of processes to improve workflow.

**Duties**
- Create and maintain a cohesive team culture within the factory staff, motivating, supporting and managing Team Leaders and factory staff.
- Ensure the daily factory performance and efficiency is maximised per production line as well as overall factory efficiency
- Manage staff rostering and leave in conjunction with the Production and Logistics Manager
- Ensure the daily factory performance and efficiency is maximised per production line as well as overall factory efficiency
- Report and manage daily output numbers
- Ensure product quality processes are developed and followed
- Develop production programmes with the Production and Logistics Manager
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiative

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Production qualification such as a production processing qualification or alternatively a mechanical background or experienced engineer who has moved into production management.
- 3+ years of supervisory / production floor management experience.
- Strong organisation skills and able to manage priorities in a structured manner.
- A working understanding of warehousing, manufacturing, and inventory environments
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
