Placement Coordinator

ACAP also delivers the Professional Year Program (PYP) for graduates in Accounting, IT and Engineering.

**We are currently seeking a Placement Coordinator to initially cover a 12 month maternity leave contract, with potential for further career development after this period.**

This exciting opportunity would suit a confident, and proactive professional eager to identify opportunities for students and make a difference

This role may suit a recruiter, employment consultant, customer service professional, or sales consultant that is driven by results but doesn't want the stress of financial targets.

**About the role**

The Placement Coordinator coordinates all aspects of placing students into short
- and long-term placements, related to their field of study, as required for their course completion.

**Some responsibilities involve;**
- Providing excellent customer service to students throughout the placement process
- Proactively identifying placement opportunities through developing relationships with existing industry partners, and continuing to grow the network through relationship-building and networking initiatives
- Extensive liaison with academics, trainers, students, industry partners and team members
- Delivering student orientation and placement information sessions
- All aspects of placement coordination including varied administrative and compliance duties

This role enjoys a balance of freedom and autonomy whilst being part of a motivated team with the shared passion for relationship building and achieving the best goals for student outcomes.

**It is essential that you can demonstrate;**
- Demonstrate excellence in administrative and customer service skills, with strong communication, time management and attention to detail
- Experience in a relevant or similar role such as; Employment Consultant, Recruitment Consultant, Sales Coordinator, Placement Consultant, Client Relationship Manager
- Experience in developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with a consultative approach
- Confidence and enthusiasm to pick up the phone and develop placement opportunities for students

**The following would be advantageous but is not essential;**
- Experience in the education sector
- AND/OR Experience in business development or consultative sales role
- An understanding of the placement process
