**About the Role**:
As a student placement coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping students take the first step towards achieving their career goals. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate and coordinate the placement of students in facilities across the spectrum of health care, ensuring that they gain valuable experience and develop the necessary skills to excel in their chosen field.

In this role, you will work closely with students, educators, and host facilities to identify suitable placement opportunities and coordinate the placement process. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners, providing guidance and support to students throughout the placement process, and tracking and reporting on placement outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of the job market and career development. You should also be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and have a passion for helping students succeed.

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Work in partnership with the Course Coordinator to ensure all placements are able to meet the course and student requirements.
- Manage and build the networks of Memorandum of Understanding and Clinical Agreements with appropriate Health and Community organisations.
- Manage any changes to Government, Health policy or industry standards that impact currency of our placements and our student experience
- Provide placement opportunities across a wide variety of Health and Community locations to support the retention and engagement of our student population
- As required monitor and report on partner suitability to the needs of our courses with undertaking of visits during workplace/clinical placements
- Positively represent The School to our student population and our industry partners managing and working to develop and improve our internal processes and communication to enhance our delivery of exceptional student experience
