Full Job Description
We seek a Claims Support Officer who has a good understanding of medical reports to join a well-known specialist insurer to join their Workers Compensation team. This is an initial full-time 6-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent.
Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working with a minimum of one month in the office located in Adelaide CBD
**The role**:
- Have a good understanding of medical reports and the ability to interpret documents
- Register all Special Issues Claims and Liability claims within set timelines
- Process timely payment of settlements and service provider invoices on all claims
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files and management of low complex claims (end to end)
**About you**:
- Experience in Workers Compensation is highly desirable. Experience as a medical receptionist or paralegal is also desirable
- Demonstrated competence at an intermediate/advanced level in Microsoft Office package
- Demonstrated capacity to understand the sensitive nature of information and to deal with that information with discretion and confidentiality
