**A 6-month contract with the possibility of extension **has become available within our Bupa ADF Health Services contract. Based out of our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations when not working remotely the Clinical Governance Lead is responsible for activities relating to Clinical Governance, Clinical Risk Management and Continuous Quality Improvement.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead, develop, implement, and maintain an organisational-wide clinical governance system and manage initial and ongoing credentialing activities involving Bupa contracted health practitioners and External Specialist Providers.
- Support a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality, clinical risk and patient safety guidelines to meet relevant accreditation standards.
- Manage Credentialing / Accreditation audits in line with the ADF HS Quality Plan and oversee credentialing waiver management.
- Deliver reporting requirements for the ADF HS Business Unit and the suite of Internal / External Governance forums
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification for ADF HS ensuring improvement opportunities and corrective actions are completed.
- Support and co-ordinate business process improvement initiatives, in conjunction with leadership team, that meets contractual and legislative requirements and key performance indicators as set by Bupa and Defence
- Coordinate enhancements to key governance systems including Protecht and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Work in collaboration with peers to ensure service delivery outcomes are met in accordance with contractual obligations whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience and a safe work environment

**What do I need?**
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Governance / Quality or Compliance role preferably at a management level as well as audit experience.
- Post Graduate qualifications or working towards i.e. Health Management, Quality management, Clinical Governance or similar (highly desirable)
- Knowledge / experience in ISO 9001 Accreditation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and refine service delivery and clinical governance processes and proven ability to develop and implement frameworks, drive outcomes and ultimately delivery programs of work.
- Experience employing root cause analysis methodology in investigating clinical incidents and demonstrated success in implementing Risk Management Practices.
- Experience implementing organisational wide quality improvement initiatives and influencing teams in building a high-quality improvement culture.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly in the use of Word and Excel.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills as well as conceptual, analytical, problem solving and strategic planning/thinking ability.
- ** This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance.**
