Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 09:00AM - 17:00PM - potential to pick up additional days in the community

About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Home Care Worker, you’ll create cherished moments each day.

You will support our clients to live independently at home by providing personal care, domestic assistance, assisted shopping and meal preparation.- Ongoing support provided by a dedicated service team- Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 5 pm- Mobile phone- Opportunity to work close to home - service locations available in the North and West inner city regions

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.- Work with several clients in providing social group support including activity planning.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.- Have your own car with a valid drivers license and be comfortable driving a 12 seater bus.- First Aid Certificate (Level 2)

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care/Aged Care/Disability
- Food handling Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
