**The Opportunity**

In this role you will see yourself responsible for developing analysis and models based on complexed technical, operational, economic and statistical data to solve forecasting and inventory challenges for our agricultural and construction equipment aftermarket departments.

These results will be a forecast across 200 000+ SKU’s and $100M+ annual spend providing the basis for meeting our service level commitment to our customers.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Analysing historical demand and market information on 200 000+ SKU’s using business software packages and statistical software tools and develop statistical and mathematical models to predict future outcomes, improve inventory optimization, and multi-echelon forecast accuracy.
- Leading and managing the Sales & Operations Process reviews by sharing, collaborating and integrating market intelligence across multi-departmental echelons as well as other regions globally.
- Improving business profitability by identifying and implementing forecasting strategies to prevent low stock, out o stock and surplus/obsolete inventory.
- Collating, modelling, interpreting and analysing data, explaining variances, seasonality and trends.
- Collecting, analysing and reporting data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues related to forecasting and supporting inventory functions.
- Developing reports for management on the overall performance of business segments and developing metrics to measure various characteristics of inventory.

**In this role you will need**:

- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, will be highly regarded or 5 years’ experience in Materials/Inventory Management.
- Understanding of forecasting, stocking, replenishing and logistics processes, preferably in a distribution or service parts setting.
- Strong Agriculture and Construction product knowledge is preferred
- Experience and knowledge managing inventory and inventory accounting procedures.
- Strong analytical background and process flow mentality.
- Strong Excel skill and MS Office.
- APICS certification is preferred
- Productive and high performing work environment
