**About the role**

As a Protective Coatings Sales Representative for Dulux, you will service, manage, and develop the customer base in Perth and predominantly south of the river.

This role sits within a supportive team where your enthusiasm and desire to learn will be a valuable asset, we are open to someone who is looking to move forward with their career and wants to join a successful and dynamic business.

In this largely autonomous role, you will be out on the road visiting our customers to gain sales and influence their buying habits of our protective coatings range.

When you are not out and about, you will use our CRM tools to plan for the days ahead, creating an effective sales plan for you to achieve your own personal and team goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Generating leads and growing our customer base within the protective coatings market
- Providing excellent service to our existing customers
- Creating and following call plans for a structured approach
- Tracking and recording sales performance in our CRM system

**Skills & Experience**

To succeed in this role, you will bring solid sales experience, with a strength in managing customer relationships, and ideally be based on the south of the river.

Other key skills experience include:

- Proven experience managing a territory or ‘on the road’ sales experience is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as an organised approach
- A positive, can-do attitude, with good problem-solving skills
- The confidence and skills to find new business opportunities
- Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning
- Knowledge or experience within the painting industry is advantageous but not essential
