**What you'll be doing**
- The Deputy District Director Clinical Governance (DDDCG) is responsible for establishing, directing, and managing the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) Clinical Governance functions to promote and support patient safety and clinical excellence within health services.

**Selection Criteria**
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience including proven track record of clinical governance, quality & safety experience across a large organisation
- Extensive recent experience in working in a complex organisation at an executive level, demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate advanced problem solving /negotiation and change management skills.
- Highly developed relationship management skills to influence and negotiate outcomes, liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and promoting a strong change management culture.
- Demonstrated people management experience and managing teams of people both directly and indirectly.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse, identify opportunities, lead critical projects, and have a commitment to improving organisational performance through strategic planning, innovation, and quality improvement.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and within a team and have the skills to meet tight deadlines and priorities workload.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
