**Summary**

**We are looking for a compassionate Aged Care Workers to provide nursing care in Goulburn NSW to the elderly in community settings, residential aged care, retirement villages and healthcare facilities. This position will suit people with an interest in the well-being of others who have strong interpersonal and communication skills.**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide our residents with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom.
- Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed.
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers.
- Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections by caring and showing interest in their lives.
- Respond to any safety or medical issues.
- Developing a nursing care plan
- Assessing patients
- Administering medicines
- Providing specialised nursing care
- Working in multidisciplinary teams
- Supervising ENs and junior RNs
- To comply with safety rules and procedures
- Setting up intravenous drips and blood transfusions
- Updating patients records at the end of each shift
- Providing medical advice to patients and their families
- Cleaning and replacing dressings on wounds and surgical sites
- Helping patients with surgical hygiene. Help with baths, shampooing and showering
- To take reasonable care for their own health and safety while at work, including seeking advice from the employer or supervisor about any risks to their health and safety
- Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed.
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers.
- Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections by caring and showing interest in their lives.
- Respond to any safety or medical issues.

**About You**
- Cert 111 or IV in Aged Care or Disability Support
- Current Police Check
- within 1 year
- 100 Points Identification
- Fully Vaccinated
- Current Flu Vaccination
- Manual handling Certificate
- NDIS Certificate
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Pay: $38.00 - $120.00 per hour
