We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Material Transportation Supply Chain, Material Transportation BL, Consumables BA

THE ROLE

**Key Task include**:
Accountable for the Revenue and GP Margins of the offerings.
Accountable for managing both SG&A and COGS costs to maximise profitability.
Responsible for the overall growth and development of the MT Supply Chain business within the region and globally.
Development and implementation of a strategic business plan for the MT Supply Chain business globally including:
Working closely with the Sales Teams and key stakeholders
Develop a strong, agile, supply chain to deliver quality products in required timelines to compliment in-house capabilities.
Working closely with the MT Supply Chain team, HSE team and HR Talent Development to develop training programs, develop resource plans and assist in recruitment of required resources
Excellent technical product knowledge
Support of the MT offerings in the region.
Development of the correct regional footprint in line with the strategy.
Managing the manufacturing function with strong emphasis on driving efficiencies whilst maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering the required quality and schedule reliability.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders both globally and within the region.

THE PERSON

Extensive experience (10+ years) in a senior operational/general manager role, with responsibility for service delivery in a geographically dispersed environment.
Manufacturing experience and exposure to the mining industry.
Proven track record of driving and managing business process and cultural change, within an organisation.
Broad general management experience, including budget management, people leadership and management, and performance monitoring and management.
Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships across a broad range of professionals and business sectors at a senior level.
Confident and sound communication skills with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels
Natural leader and team player.

DESIRABLE

Degree or Diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Tertiary qualification in business management or other relevant discipline.
Previous operational experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
A proven track record of success at a divisional level, across multiple business centres.
Experienced at capital expenditure proposals and implementation.
Direct exposure to Metso product range
Experience with wear solutions, within the mining industry.
