**Who are we?**
Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. LSV is a recognised agency of Emergency Management Victoria and provides emergency response services across the state through its vast network of lifesaving clubs, lifeguards, marine and aerial rescue services. LSV is a Registered Training Organisation and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
**How will this position contribute to Life Saving Victoria’s mission?**
Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training and Assessment Officers are responsible for the delivery of a selection of short courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety across the state both in metro Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We are looking for a fulltime fixed term (12 month contract) Trainers to join our growing team.

**Who are you?**
This position would ideally suit an experienced trainer who has experience in a role delivering high quality presentations and training to uniquely different client groups, whilst building relationship and developing rapport with clients, internal business units and training colleagues, with limited supervision. With experience in delivering vocational training and ability to conduct flexible assessments
**Specific requirements**:must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) and the ability to maintain current relevant qualifications and professional development evidence in line with ASQA / VET requirements and LSV structures.
Vocational specialties: One or more of the following;
- HLTAID009 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 First Aid
- HLTAID014 Advanced First Aid
- SISSS00112 Swimming and Water Safety Teacher
- SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard
- Inland Waterways Life Saving Certificate or equivalent nationally recognized qualification(s)
- Surf / Beach Bronze Medallion or Community Surf Lifesaving Certificate
