Citywide are recruiting for **Tree Root Maintenance Team Members** to join our crew working out of the **Port Melbourne** depot. In this role you will be dealing with tree root issues affecting infrastructure and buildings. This role would suit anyone with a Horticulture, Arboriculture or Civil background looking for a new challenge.
- Monday to Friday - 6am to 2.36pm
- Port Melbourne depot location

**Duties of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Cut sealed surfaces with demo saw - removal and disposal
- Operation of Air spade excavation tool
- Manual, hydro and mechanical excavation of trenches
- Safe operation of demo saw and chainsaw
- Perform open space maintenance works as required including tree planting, watering, minor concrete and asphalt works
- Capture images of all works, pre, during and post job
- Assist in instructing and guiding apprentices, tradespeople and labourers
- Drive and maintain equipment (trailer mounted machine, light trucks, tip-truck, excavator, Bobcat)

**Preferred certificates and licences**:

- Cert III in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Landscaping
- Current Drivers licence
- MR/HR licence
- Chainsaw certification
- Spotters certification
- Bobcat licence
- Excavator licence
- Hydro/NDD experience
