- UGL Defence is currently working towards the award of a fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract with Defence. We are recruiting a Configuration Manager to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.

**The Role**

The Configuration Manager, reporting into the Engineering & Strategic Asset Manager, will be based in our newly created Defence Hub in North Sydney. This role is responsible for, but not limited to:

- Ensure effective management and control of configuration items related to the contract
- Maintain the integrity, traceability and accuracy of all deliverables and associated documentation
- Monitor and enforce the change control process, maintain accurate records and status reports and conduct regular audits and reviews of configuration items
- Coordinate the release and deployment of configuration items and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve and streamline configuration management function

**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:

- Degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field, with extensive experience in the Defence or similar complex engineering environment
- In depth knowledge of configuration management principles, practices and standards
- Familiarity with Defence industry requirements will be highly regarded
- Working experience operating in management tools and software, SAP preferred
- Currently holds, or ability to obtain required security clearance
