The Northern Water Project is one of the most impressive sustainability projects undertaken in the State, comprising of a desalination plant and a pipeline water transfer system. The Project is likely to be a multi-billion-dollar investment that will provide a sustainable water source to the State’s northern outback, including an extensive water transfer system from the coast to Olympic Dam. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is focused on pre-delivery activities and cost effective and efficient procurement for this exciting and significant project.

As the Governance Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external agencies and provide strategic advice to senior management and other governance bodies. Proficiency in all forms of communication is highly desirable.

The role is essential in navigating political landscapes, anticipating challenges, and guiding the Northern Water Project towards its objectives while upholding good governance practices.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with intra/interstate travel may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 per annum
ASO8 - $121,107 to $125,679 per annum
