**The role & what we are looking for**

Reporting to the Travel & Events Manager, Capricorn's Travel Consultants are responsible for the sale and coordination of travel arrangements for our members while providing information, advice and booking services. Our travel consultants receive a great base salary, there is no requirement for weekend work or late nights, and you can work from home two days per week

Please note that for the first few weeks training you will be required to work in the office full-time so you can have in-person support from team and management.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Create travel packages for domestic and international travel.
- Enter client information, travel details and notes in the appropriate system and maintain 100% accuracy.
- Booking flights in Galileo and issuing tickets through BSP and Airtickets.
- Collect payments and maintain records of transactions for non-members bookings.
- Issuing invoices through CCTE and trip file reconciliation.
- Assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings when required, including dispute resolution.
- Support Capricorn Travel's preferred travel suppliers.
- First and foremost, a passion for travel
- Experience in a similar Travel role and/or completion of a Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management.
- Strong understanding of the industry, standards, and legislative requirements.
- Minimum 1 years' experience using CCTE and Galileo GDS.
- Great communication and sales skills with the drive to actively problem solve to find travel solutions for customers.
