Our client is a leading employment and training services provider that offers job search support to disadvantaged jobseekers and people with a disability, through the delivery of Federal Government funded programs.

Their focus is on curating relationships across local communities, with the goal of improving employment outcomes and, in turn, the lives of disadvantaged people, those living with an illness, injury, or disability, and those who face personal barriers and considerable challenges entering the workforce and maintaining a job.

**About the opportunity**:
We are recruiting for an experienced Employer Engagement Manager to drive, motivate and inspire a team of Employer Engagement Officers across Sydney, to achieve performance targets whilst ensuring contractual are being met.

We are seeking a motivated, and driven individual with strong leadership experience and a business development/ sales background, ideally from the employment services sector.

To be successful, you must be confident and competent to manage across multi-faceted areas of the business, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and drive and develop client engagement through your proactive networking and business development skills.

This opportunity will suit an experienced people leader with both a strategic mindset and relationship development / networking skills. A proven track-record of creating and managing employer partnerships is essential.

The salary package for this role is competitive and includes a vehicle allowance.

The base location is flexible across Sydney. Please note that travel across the Sydney/greater Sydney area will be required.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Lead, manage and motivate a geographically dispersed team to consistently achieve targets and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Create and manage large employer partnerships with new and existing employers, to become their recruitment partner of choice.
- Identify new opportunities to better service employers, and develop innovative proposals.
- Develop and implement the Employer Services team strategic business plan.
- Ensure compliance for audits and provide quality service in accordance with contractual guidelines.
- Review current employer base and lead the thinking / direction / guidance on target employers and contracts
- Build capability in the team to nurture local employer relationships and develop a culture of ownership.

**To be successful you should**:

- Have a proven track record in leading and coaching and inspiring high performing teams, ideally in Employment Services.
- Be strategic in your thinking and able to drive performance goals in a results-oriented environment.
- Possess strong business development skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and develop effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders, including large national employers.
- Be able to collaborate across the business to achieve successful outcomes.
- Possess strong analytical skills, business acumen and proven success in achieving financial targets.
- Proven skills and success in strategically identifying new business opportunities that align with organisation's values.
- Possess excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills
- Be highly motivated and able to draw on initiative and business development experience to drive future growth, whilst maintaining high-quality employment services
- Possess a current Drivers Licence: and
- The ability to obtain a current clear Police Check and Working with Children Check.
