Logistics Coordinator

- What does an Logistics Coordinator do?_

The Logistics Coordinator role includes day-to-day operational responsibilities in a team environment, with client-facing customer service and collaboration.

This role is focused on operational excellence, following pre-defined SOPs. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing shipments requested by the client and their vendors/suppliers, having an immediate impact on business fulfillment, client relations, and the achievement of long-term departmental goals and objectives. This person works to ensure that standard processes and relevant metrics are followed, and are used to improve customer service, reduce, or contain transport costs. The Logistics Coordinator works with a team of logistics specialists with a focus on critical thinking and client account optimization and growth externally. This leader should be capable of flexible account management and new client operational support. This role will be measured by metrics such as accuracy, efficiency, customer service support and internal management of client shipments.

***38 hours, 8 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / afterhours support / on-call rotation may be required) RDO Option

**Position Classification**:Full-Time; Salaried Exempt

**Compensation**:$60,000-$70,000 Annual AUD

**Physical Demands**: Sitting, typing, standing, walking (occasional bending, lifting, carrying)

**Work Environment**:Office Cubicle and Warehouse Facility

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage logistic shipments working with both client and team members.
- Complete day-to-day operations.
- Support for internal team members or external customers / suppliers
- Facilitate prompt issue resolution when needed.
- Prepare and Present Quarterly Business Reviews
- Ensure client satisfaction.
- Exhibit Allyn core values
- Travel to client locations as needed.
- Ongoing transactional support and strategic support for logistics accounts
- Assist in development and implementation of productivity and efficiency initiatives, that will benefit both the team (Allyn) and the client. I.e., IT improvements.
- Participation in client offered training in support of each functional competency
- Provide excellent customer service to Allyn clients
