We are seeking a service technician assistant to join our Launceston branch.

**Description**:
The Opportunity
Based in Launceston, TAS this full-time position will be responsible for assisting in range of service-related activities, including scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installation and commissioning of irrigation related products and solutions. Your time will be spent both externally and within the branch, liaising directly with clients, end users and team members.

The successful applicant will be mechanically minded, highly motivated with a strong interest in the irrigation sector. Reporting to the Service Manager it would be considered beneficial for the Service Technician assistant to have experience in the following:
Strong technical ability.
Previous experience of irrigation, pumping & filtration systems.
Service, installation and commissioning of fertigation and automation systems.
Domestic, agricultural and industrial pump repairs.
HDPE poly welding & Electro fusion welding
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
Enjoy solving technical problems and providing solutions.
Forklift.
