Chandler Macleod has an exciting opportunity for experienced Control System Specialist to join our client, a highly reputable brand and an employer of choice within the WA mining industry. This position is based at their Refinery in the Peel region approximately 80km's south of the CBD. This is a Monday - Friday role working a 36 hour week with potential for additional hours if required.

The Control Systems Specialist (CSS) is a refinery-based engineering role accountable for performing / coordinating the engineering, maintenance, support, enhancement and escalation activities for the critical devices and networks. Specifically the devices associated with both the Honeywell Control systems as managed by the program and other sub-systems and associated infrastructure, all used to automatically control and monitor the Refinery operations.

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Extensive Control System experience in a mineral processing / refinery environment or similar
- Perform ongoing system maintenance and testing to ensure long-term system stability and performance.
- Administration of system and device monitoring, backup methodology, and recovery procedures.
- Act as a site Responsible Safety Contact, providing verification and signoffs on Contractor work methods, permits, and risk ratings. Perform safety and task reviews
- Extensive use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
