- We’re looking for a research analyst (Associate Director level) to join UBS’ Australian Energy & Utilities equities research team to:
- conduct valuation analysis focusing on the power, renewables, oil and gas sectors
- convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
- build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
- remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Australian Equities Research team in Melbourne. We provide investment insights to domestic and international institutional investors on the Energy & Utilities sectors and are consistently rated as one of the top research teams in Australia across both sectors. As an Energy & Utilities research analyst at UBS, you’ll play an important role analysing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations to a wide range of institutional clients while leveraging UBS’ market leading platform.

**Your expertise**
- ideally 3+ years of experience in a sell-side research role, accounting, consulting practice or energy/utilities company
- have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
- confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
- adept at both verbal and written communication of fundamental views in an articulate and confident manner
- inquisitive, organized and able to work independently.
